in a big bowl
- 1 lb orzo
- 1 lb broccoli florets, fresh or thawed
- 3 cups veg broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes in oil, or 1/2 cup pesto
- 4 cloves garlic, skip if pesto
- 1 tsp each salt, oregano, red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp chopped basil
mix in later
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 2 handfuls spinach
steps
- preheat oven to 375
- well mix bowl ingredients, add to greased 9x13, cover in foil
- bake for 35-40 minutes, until al dente
- uncover, stir in spinach and parmesan, bake another 5-10 until pasta done
- serve hot.
